We gave our first online concert on Concert Window last night and it was tremendous fun! About 80 people logged in, half of which were people who had supported our Kickstarter campaign. The Yanks @ U. Chicago Folk Fest
The Yanks are confirmed to take part in the University of Chicago Folk Festival, from February 14 – 16, 2014! We’ll be playing two concerts and leading workshops over the weekend. Past performers include Willie Dixon, The Stanley Brothers, Daithi Sproule and James Kelly, John Williams, Bill Monroe, our friends Brian Miller and Randy Gosa….. the list goes on and on. Needless to say we are really excited to be included in the 2014 lineup. See you there!
The Yanks are coming to Austin!
Just announced! The Yanks will be playing at this year’s Austin Celtic Festival! The Yanks are gearing up for 2014! We´ll be playing January 25th in Rhode Island, and February 14-16 at the University of Chicago Folk Fest. More dates to come!

The Yanks Return to the Catskills
This week the Yanks are returning to Catskills Irish Arts Week! We are teaching workshops, leading sessions, and playing two concerts: one at the MJQ Festival Grounds, and the other at the Blackthorne, where we recorded our debut album last summer. We’re really excited to come play, teach, and see all our great friends for a week of trad madness!
